ARE wrote me an email a couple of days back, saying some 'people' have been complaining about my Naughty Nymphomaniac series, and the fact that the 18-year-old protagonist is barely legal. OK, she was 17 before, but because Amazon protested by blocking the book, I had to make her 18.
Yes, she has sex in high school. Yes, she has sex with her principal.
That offends some people mightily, and that's why ARE had to pull the ENTIRE SERIES out.
Then 2 days later, ARE started banning plenty of books about pseudo-incest and other stuff.
2 days ago, I also got a message from Bookstrand. It seems Paypal froze their account because they were publishing pseudo-incest and barely legal and rape stuff. So they asked us to voluntarily pull our books with such content from their site.
As a result, I pulled my NAUGHTY NYMPHOMANIAC series as well as the majority of of ROYAL CAPTIVE series, because face it or not, that is a story about a sex slave and yes, it contains plenty of rape and forced consent. I would say more forced consent and dubious consent.
So there you go, in a nutshell, as to why I have been banned.
The banned books are still all available on Amazon and Smashwords and Nook and Apple. Thank goodness.
